This session is designed for real estate licensees- professionals who want to confidently
navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of rural property transactions. Rural real
estate differs significantly from urban markets, requiring specialized knowledge of property
considerations, financing complexities, and regulatory compliance.
Participants will gain practical guidance, connect with valuable resources, and learn
strategies to better serve clients in rural areas. By understanding these aspects, real estate
licensees can deliver exceptional service, ensure compliance, and leverage emerging
market trends.
Navigating Wells & Water with Confidence (1669)

Summary
Water issues can make or break a real estate transaction, especially in Nebraska. In this practical and engaging 3-hour course, attendees will gain a better understanding of Nebraska soils, groundwater, wells, and water resources, and how they directly impact property value, disclosure, and client conversations.
Participants will learn to identify common soil and foundation warning signs, understand groundwater concerns and water supply challenges, explore online tools and mapping resources available to REALTORS®, and discuss how to confidently navigate buyer and seller questions related to wells, water quality, drainage, and future water availability. Through real-world examples, case studies, demonstrations, and interactive discussions, this course equips REALTORS® with the knowledge needed to better serve and educate their clients in today’s market.

Licensees will refresh their understanding of Title 299; Chapter 2; Codes 003 thru 006 in addition to how it applies to real estate affiliate and team advertising. Students are encouraged and motivated to learn how to be compliant when it comes to traditional and digital advertising.
