Nebraska REALTORS® YPN will award one (1) First Time Conference Attendee Scholarship for the Nebraska State REALTOR® Convention in La Vista Nebraska on April 13 - 15, 2025. The purpose behind this scholarship is to encourage new agents (or new leaders!) within the local and state associations to attend Convention. It will be a great way to connect the recipient with other like-minded professionals to help you start your own local YPN or experience the value of networking at our conventions.

Recipients will receive up to $1,000 towards their travel expenses. Selection is based on initiative to pursue professional growth opportunities.

The YPN leadership team will choose the recipient at their March 3, 2026 meeting. Applications are due January 31st. If a recipient is unable to participate in the conference for which he/she was awarded the scholarship, the scholarship cannot be carried over to the following year. Scholarships must be used for the conference in which they were intended.

Scholarship requirements include but are not limited to:

• Must be a first-time Nebraska REALTORS® Association Convention attendee
• Home address must be 100+ miles from the location of the Convention
• Must be a primary member of the Nebraska REALTORS® Association
• Registration and hotel nights are to be secured by the member
• Applicant awarded the scholarship will need to attend YPN meetings and events sponsored by YPN unless the recipient is attending Rookie training. If a YPN event conflicts with Rookie training, the absence will be excused. More details will be provided in advance of the Convention.
• Reimbursement will be up to $1,000 with a detailed expense report
• Recipient may not have any ongoing ethics violations or commission complaints filed against them
• Recipient must attend and complete the education course they select.
• Recipient must sign-off on all requirements. 

Reimbursement Requirements:

• Required to utilize Nebraska REALTORS® Association expense report adhering to the travel policy
• Required to show original detailed copy of all receipts
• Must return the expense report within thirty (30) days of the conference
• Nebraska REALTORS® Association will issue the check (may take up to 2 weeks)

The following expenses are eligible for the scholarship:

• Mileage/travel expenses
• Registration fee (including CE)
• Ticket to the Grand Luncheon during the Convention
• Standard Hotel Room
• Reimburse up to $100 a day for up to 3 meals
• Standard Parking

The following expenses are NOT eligible for scholarship (but not limited to):



• Alcohol. If purchasing any with a meal, please have any alcohol on a separate receipt than your meal for reimbursement.
